Our electronic noticeboard system includes optional room booking software or events facility. Use this to welcome visitors to your building, or place screens outside meeting rooms to inform visitors or staff of meetings taking place in individual rooms.
Featuring an easy to use web interface written in Flash that includes a 24 hour scrollable timeline the system will operate smoothly in any web browser anywhere on your network. Meetings or events can be dragged around the timeline, have their start and end times altered by dragging the left and right container edges or by selecting from dropdown selectors above the timeline. The booking system is fully integrated into the main electronic noticeboard control system that allows you to create other message pages and either slot them into the booking room displays or display them in other zones on our multizone screens alongside meeting information. |

A typical use is in large organisations such as hotels that hire out function rooms. By placing a small LCD screen outside each room the screen will display up to the minute information on the event taking place in that room. The screen can also display the next five events if required along with advertising or welcome screens.
To save having a seperate PC driving a screen outside each room you could use one of our multiscreen NDD units such as our NDD4, NDD8 or NDD10. An NDD10 will display different information on ten different screens all from the same PC. Put the NDD10 in your computer room and by using CAT5 extenders you can drive LCD screens up to 130metres away.
Templates
The noticeboard screen pages are derived from a template that is very easy to design in the WYSIWYG page editor in the main electronic noticeboard control system so you can make the pages incorporate your own branding and colours. A template page is shown below.

Special tags in the page get converted into actual data automatically every minute. The final page that would be displayed on the noticeboard screens based on the above template would look like the image below. Note how the tags such as [roomname] and [starttime1] get converted into actual data:

Information on the actual event 'On Now' also gets slotted into a display template, and the following example shows a main event page. You might want to place such a screen outside the meeting room to inform your staff or clients what is happening in that room. The booking system also allows you to insert a logo into the page so you can add your clients company identity to the page. As the system uses templates that you can create in the main electronic noticeboard control system editor you can design these pages any way you like.

By using the multizone features of the electronic noticeboard system you could have a large screen displaying a multitude of information on your meetings (or events).
The image below shows a screen split into nine zones. The top three zones show a list of the days events in three rooms. The second row displays the current 'On Now' events in the above three rooms, while the bottom three zones show three RSS news feeds, two showing information from the BBC and one showing news from a Yahoo news feed.
Changing the layout and what is displayed in which zone on the noticeboard screen is very simple to do, so the example screen below can be configured to show whatever data you require.
