The electronic noticeboard control system includes WYSIWYG page editing, page scheduling, message tickers, multiple RSS news feeds, Internet image importing and room booking facilities built into an easy to use web application that runs in your web browser meaning there is no software to install on your users PCs. The digital signage player software includes a WYSIWYG zone layout manager to let you easily create multiple zones of different sizes and in different positions on the electronic noticeboard screens along with a number of built in layouts. Web browser control allows you to operate the system from any networked PC. The main control system is an Adobe Flex (flash) application that allows you to have a web application that handles smoothly just like normal desktop applications. Our player software (the part that drives the noticeboard screen) can be configured to update itself from the local web server or over the Internet. Our dedicated digital signage web server has additional features that allow it to automatically connect to the Internet and download multiple RSS news feeds that are then processed and slotted into easy to make page templates. RSS feeeds allow you to keep your screens up to date with current news events automatically. We supply an RSS creation tool with the system so you can create your own RSS feeds. A built in room or events booking system allows you to display lists of events on your noticeboard screens. You can use our software on your own PCs or our NDD1Web unit is a complete ready to go solution that has all the required software including a web server ready installed. Additional noticeboard PCs can connect to this master NDD noticeboard unit and update themselves via a standard HTTP web connection. This allows the electronic noticeboards to be either in the same building or anywhere in the world with an Internet connection. Be up and running in minutes! Just connect the NDD1Web unit to your network, attach a large screen TV or monitor and enter the address of the unit into your web browser and start making and displaying message pages!
