Which items do I need for my digital signage application:
Note that the term NDD1 stands for Network Display Device and is either a small footprint PC that we can supply or your own PC running the NDD electronic noticeboard software. The number following NDD is the number of monitor outputs available.

I want a single screen that I can show staff messages on
This small system will require:
1off NDD1 to connect to the noticeboard display screen
1 off Page Server 1 control software
1 off Page Editor software
I want a to show the same messages on more than one screen
The noticeboard PC that connects to the screens can have its output split to drive additional screens. Units are available that will split the signal 2,4 and 8 times. These units also often have electronics built into them that will allow remote screens to be used up to 65m from the unit. The splitter units can be cascaded to increase the number of outputs.
If the screens are too far apart for the splitter units you will need an NDD1 at each location. NDD1s are connected by a LAN connection.
I want a to show different messages on up to 10 different screens
This larger system will require:
1 off NDD1 for each of the display screens
OR
An alternative to individual NDD1 units would be to use our NDD2 or NDD4 units. You can use any combination of NDD units in the system.
1 off Page Server 10 control software
1 off Page Editor software
The choice of wheather to use NDD1 units of NDD2/4 units would be determined by the location of the screens relative to the location of the NDD units. If you look at 'I want a to show the same messages on more than one screen' this details information on using VGA extenders.
I want to show different messages on more than 10 screens
This larger system will require:
1 off NDD1 for each of the display screens
OR
An alternative to individual NDD1 units would be to use our NDD2 or NDD4 units. You can use any combination of NDD units in the system.

I want to show information on the televisions in my Hotel / B&B bedrooms
This system will require:
1off NDD1 configured to run in 'TV' mode
1 off RF Modulator to put the pages from the NDD1 unit onto a 'television channel'
1 off connection from the modulator to the hotel aerial system
1 off Page Server 1 control software
1 off Page Editor software
You will need to tune the bedroom television sets into the modulator channel. The NDD1 output will then be seen on a television channel that could be advertised in the hotel room welcome pack.
All the above systems will need display screens as these are not included in the above information. NDD1 is a term that we use for the display computer. Please also see the FAQ for additional technical information.
